Lactase enzyme pills are produced by many companies and come in many varieties. However, they are ALL the same thing--lactase enzymes. It is up to you to try different types to find which works best for you. You will find them in grocery stores, health food stores, online, etc. As I mentioned in another post, Lactaid makes excellent ice cream (and yes, it's real ice cream.) However, I discovered an ice cream "substitute" called Soy Delicious that is AWESOME in a health food store. It is actually much healthier for you than regular ice cream, and even has fiber! Tastes like super premium ice cream without the super premium price. You might consider trying soy milk and other soy-based products, as this is a common substitute for milk, and many are quite tasty. There are also recipes available from many sources to help with a lactose intolerant diet. These can be found on the internet, in your library, or your favorite bookstore.
